Riding

He who leads decides and the others follow. Safety First

  • Follow in the staggered position at a safe distance.

  • The Tail Gunner follows the leader’s directions and leaves no one behind.

  • Respect departure times.  Be ready, fueled and fed.

  • Guests must be familiar with our guidelines and hand signals. The INVITER is responsible for the INVITY.

  • When pulling over, move over as far as possible allowing the Road Captain a clear view of the Tail Gunner.

  • When disembarking be safe and do so opposite side of the road. Activating hazard lights is a good idea.

Membership

The Seven Seniors vote on Prospects, Members, nick names and any amendments to the guidelines. Majority (4 of 7) takes the vote. When a Senior leaves the club his worthy successor is chosen and voted on by Seniors.

Prospects are presented to the Seniors by a member who will be the Sponsor and responsible for guiding the Prospect during their (aprox 1yr) internship. This is the time were the Prospect shows his passion for riding and compatibility. This must include some sleep away rides. Although it’s beneficial for the spouse/girlfriend to be compatible it’s not a must.

Full Patch Member, when the Sponsor deems the Prospect worthy, he presents his request for the Seniors to vote on.

All member’s opinions and suggestions will be considered equally.

Communications

When club communications are sent out and a response is required only use the REPLY ALLbutton responsibly.

Keeping it brief makes it easier for all to follow and reduces the email diarrhea.

When it comes to razing one another please show some sensitivity, don’t involve everyone and family members are off limits

Not responding to a club inquiry or invitation is disrespectful.
